Is XplitX free?
XplitX is in a private, invite-only beta and doesn't yet offer public signup or paid plans. We'll publish the final commercial model before enabling purchases.
How are expenses split?
When you log an expense you choose whether it's personal, household, or shared with specific people, and how it's divided: equal parts, exact amounts, or by receipt items. XplitX keeps everyone's balance and updates debts in real time.
What is "Settle Up"?
It's our debt optimizer: instead of everyone paying everyone, it computes the minimum number of transfers so the whole group gets even in one go.
Is it more than splitting expenses?
Yes. From the same data you log, XplitX builds your category budget with alerts, your savings goals, your month's cash flow, your bills calendar, and even your net worth. It's the app for the group's expenses and your household's finances.
Can I use it with my family and with friends too?
Yes. You can have several groups (your home, a trip, the office) and each one keeps its own accounts. What happens in one group is never visible to another.
What if the trip was in another currency?
Every expense keeps its own currency (the scanner even detects it on the receipt) and XplitX converts it to your account's currency with up-to-date exchange rates.
Coming from Splitwise — can I bring my history?
Yes: export your Splitwise group to CSV and XplitX imports it, detecting the format automatically. And if you ever want to leave, you can export everything that's yours too.
Is my data safe?
Your data lives encrypted on Google Cloud (Firebase), with per-user and per-role access rules enforced on the server. We never sell your data. See the Privacy Policy.
